(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - On the sidelines of NAM ministerial meeting, Zimbabwe foreign minister said: “in order to oppose western threats, we should expand political and economic relations among NAM countries.”“Clearly, NAM summit is an extremely important organization; it’s the second largest organization after UN, which represents developing countries.” Simbarashe Mumbengegwi expressed, NAM news agency reported.Asserting that west impose illegal sanctions against smaller developing countries, Zimbabwe FM remarked: “we must expand political and economic cooperation to stand against west threats and sanctions.”Simbarashe Mumbengegwi stated that holding such event is of great importance to Iran, and he reiterated: “Holding this position is very important for Iran and I look positive to that, as Iran is an independent country who works only for the interests of its people and of developing countries.”In the end he expressed congratulations on Iran’s chairmanship in NAM and also thanked Iran for its great hospitality./129
